- Michigan Cares Scial Emotional proposal was reviewed. Discussion was held about students completing surveys and being introduced to concerning topics, this will not be the case with this content. The elementary counselor would use these lessons as needed with small groups of students or in whole class settings. Vote was taken and the proposal passed for use of instruction.
- MTSS meetings happen monthly and review student needs.
- Update was given on the Social Studies 3rd and 4th grade request – these grade levels have started to use the Open Book Resources which are much better than the current textbook. Copies are being made of the lessons and students work on note taking skills and strategies while completing Social Studies lessons.
