About Us

The Ida Public Schools is located on a closed campus and includes three school buildings; the district enrollment typically ranges between 1,500 and 1,600 students. The 2019-20 district enrollment was approximately 1,500. The Ida Elementary School is a K-4 building with approximately 33 teachers. The Ida Middle School is a Grade 5 through Grade 8 building with approximately 30 teachers. The Ida High School is a 9th through 12th grade building with approximately 26 teachers. Some teachers are shared between buildings. The school is located in Southeast Monroe County, a rural community of mostly family farms and the small village of Ida. Ida Public schools district consist of approximately 3,000 households. The median family income was listed at approximately $80,000.
