Directions for
AppleWorks Slide Show

Goal: To create a Slide Show with 10 slides about any 1 of the following topic ideas: Favorite Foods, Sports, Holidays, Animals, or other. (Do not Print)


Directions:

  1. Open AppleWorks and select Presentation
  2. Create 10 slides by clicking on the Plus sign in the Controls located on the right side of your screen. (If you do not see your Controls go to Window: Show Presentation Controls)
  3. To add text: Select the "A" tool, and drag a text object to type in
  4. To add a graphic: Select the Arrow tool and go to File: Show Clippings
  5. Move from slide to slide by clicking the slide you want in the Presentation Controls
  6. Create 1 Title Slide and 9 Informational Slides about your topic
  7. Each Informational Slide should have 3 complete sentences and at least 1 graphic (you only need your name and title on the first slide - a graphic is optional here).
  8. When all pages are done, go to the Play button on the Controls
