Directions:
1. Begin
Microsoft Word; type your name at the top of the paper and
touch enter twice. Go to File: Page Setup, select Landscape,
and click O.K.

2. Go to Insert: Picture:
Chart.
3. Highlight all of the
miscellaneous information provided by Word on the
datasheet and go to Edit: Clear: All.
4. Click in Column C and go
to Data: Exclude Row/Col. . . and select Columns:
O.K. when the prompt appears.
5. Click in
Column D and go to Data: Exclude Row/Col. . . and
select Columns: O.K. when the prompt
appears.
6. Now, type
in the information into the datasheet that we
gathered in class. Be sure to type it accurately,
using capital letters where necessary, and then
click on the red X in the corner of the datasheet
to close the window.

7. Go to Data: Series in Columns.
8. Go to Chart: Chart
Options and do the following:
- Under Title: type
an appropriate title for this bar graph
- Under Legend:
select Bottom
- Under Data Labels:
check Value
9. Stretch out your
bar graph across the page; you should clearly be able to see
your title and all eight items displayed on the
graph.
10. Save your work and
go to File: Print to turn in this assignment.
