Directions:
Each
of your slides will need the following:
- 3 complete sentences about the
given topic; Each sentence should be next to a bullet.
- Word Art titles
- A Graphic (one per slide - 6
total)
- Colorful Backgrounds
- Custom Animations
- Slide Transitions
Creating 6 slides:
Click on the Home Tab:
touch New Slide to add slides
Using the Layout Button you can format each slide; for slide 1 you
should choose Blank, and for slides 2-6 you should choose Two Content
Designing Word Art:
For all
of your titles, click on the Insert Tab and touch the Blue "A"
WordArt
There are MANY ways to format
your WordArt using the buttons provided at the top of the page
Adding Graphics:
On your slide layout, by
clicking on the 'Insert Picture from File' button you can add saved
Pictures, OR you can insert
Clip Art by clicking on the 'Clip Art' button
Adding Colorful
Backgrounds:
Click on the Design Tab
Use the pull down under Background Styles and select Format Background
to add a colorful background
Setting up Custom
Animations:
Click on the Animations Tab
and touch where it says Custom Animation (a Custom Animation Window
will appear on the right side of your PowerPoint window)
Click on your title, bullets, or graphics (whichever one you touch is
the one you will be animating)
Click on Add Effect: Entrance to assign an entry effect to your item
Create Slide
Transitions:
Click on the Animations Tab
In the section provided titled 'Transistion to This Slide,' you can
choose to have different transitions on each slide or one
transition for the entire presentation by choosing Apply to All
View your
presentation:
Click on the Slide Show Tab
You can choose to view your show 'From Beginning' or 'From Current
Slide'
