Directions:
- First, we will launch Microsoft PowerPoint.
- You will create 10 slides; a title slide and nine
additional slides to hold your pictures; for slide 1 you
should choose Blank, and for slides 2-10 you should choose Title and
Content
- On your
title slide be sure to include:
- The title: Fall - A Season in Six (If you have one of the
other 3 seasons, substitute the word 'Fall' for the correct season.)
- Your name
- A colorful background - click on the Design tab and use the
pull down under Background Styles - select Format Background
to add a colorful background
- For slides
2-10, you will need the following on each slide:
- One of your manipulated pictures - by
clicking on the 'Insert Picture from File' button, you can add your
saved
Pictures
- The original photo
- you can make this photo the smaller one of the two. Be creative in
your placement and design.
- In the title space
describe your picture with a sentence that has ONLY SIX WORDS!
- Although your
picture(s) will take up most of the screen, you still need to put a
professional looking background on each slide.
- Add
slide transitions -
- Click on the
Animations Tab
- Locate where it
says 'Transistion to This Slide,' and you can
choose to have different transitions on each slide or one
transition for the entire presentation by choosing Apply to All
- Add custom animations
- we are going to be very specific in our custom animations. In
this presentation, we only want the pictures to come onto the page -
you may choose the type of animation. We want the manipulated
photo to come on first, and the original photo to come second so that
viewers can compare the two. Use these directions to help you:
- Animate your photos in the order you wish for them to
appear.
- Click on the
Animations Tab
and touch where it says Custom Animation (a Custom Animation Window
will appear on the right side of your PowerPoint window)
- Click on the item
you wish to animate
- Click on Add
Effect: Entrance to assign an entry effect to your item
