Getting Started!

Begin by creating a New Stack Save your stack with your Career Name and HS for HyperStudio For example, Save As...Engineer HS or Pilot HS Tear off the Tool palette and the Color palette by clicking your mouse and pulling it down Under Extras, pull down to Shortcuts and then pull down to Navigation Remember. . .Save your stack frequently!!

Use the Shortcuts to Add A Text Object and Add Buttons You will need one text object for the Name of Career You will need 8 buttons as shown below

*Note - you will connect all of your cards and buttons at the end of this project! Therefore, when making buttons: Name each button, click O.K. Place each button where you want it Click outside of the button Click Done

Adding Graphics and Buttons

Add Graphic Object to insert graphics (click on Desktop, IMS Blue, and Graphics if you would like something out of our collection on the Server) Add One button only that will connect each card to your main card. Use an icon(arrow, house, left pointing hand) To Connect Buttons: Arrow tool, Double click on a button, touch Actions, Another Card Click on the arrows until you're on the card you wish to connect to and click O.K. Select the Transition you want, O.K., Done Switch to your Browse Tool (Hand), and try-out the button connection you've just made Remember that each card should have a button that links to the home card!

Add a Graphic or Draw a Picture	Spell Check - Under Extras, Choose Check Spelling Click on, This Stack Follow through carefully Read Only - When your spell checking and proofreading is complete, Under Extras, Choose Text Field Tamer Select Read Only, Entire Stack, O.K.
