About our Media Centers
The Elementary School Media Center is open school days from 8:00 am to
3:00 pm.
Students visit the Media Center once a week with their classroom to
select books, enjoy stories and learn about how libraries can help them
become successful students.
An electronic card catalog is available to help students locate books in
the Elementary Media Center.
Materials borrowed from the Elementary Media Center are checked out for
2 weeks and may be renewed anytime prior to the due date. If materials
are late no other material may be checked out until the late material is
returned. If materials are lost the student is responsible for any
replacement costs and no other materials may be borrowed until the lost
materials are paid for.

The Ida Middle School Media Center is open school days from 8:00 am to
3:30 pm. Students may visit the Media Center before school, between
classes and after school.
Students in grades 5 and 6 visit the Media Center once every two weeks
with their Reading class. Students in grades 7 and 8 visit the Media
Center with their English class and during their Directed Study.
An electronic card catalog is available to help students locate books in
the Middle School Media Center.
Materials borrowed from the Middle School Media Center are checked out
for 3 weeks and may be renewed anytime prior to the due date. If
materials are late no other material may be checked out until the late
material is returned. If materials are lost the student is responsible
for any replacement costs and no other material may be borrowed until
the lost materials are paid for.

The Ida High School Media Center is open school days from 7:45 am to
3:25 pm. Students may visit the Media Center before school, between
classes, and after school. Students may also visit during their Directed
Study time if the Media Center is not reserved that hour.
An electronic card catalog is available to help students locate material
in the Media Center.
Materials borrowed from the Media Center are checked out for 3 weeks and
may be renewed anytime prior to the due date. If materials are late
there is a $0.05 charge per item, per day. No other material may be
borrowed until all overdue fines are paid. If material is lost the
student is responsible for any replacement costs in addition to any late
fines owed.
A computer lab is also available to the students when visiting the Media
Center. Twenty-four (24) computers are available for school related
work. A printer is available at no charge.
